{"id":3307,"date":"2021-04-06T08:30:00","date_gmt":"2021-04-06T06:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amoeba-nature.com\/?p=3307"},"modified":"2021-04-06T10:43:30","modified_gmt":"2021-04-06T08:43:30","slug":"massive-new-field-trials-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amoeba-nature.com\/en\/massive-new-field-trials-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"Massive new field trials campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"container\"><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"medium-large-full\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/amoeba-nature.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/210406_AMOEBA_Essais-2021_EN.pdf\">Press release PDF<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\"><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"medium-large-full\">\n<p><strong>Chassieu (France), April 6, 2021 \u2013 8.30 am- AMOEBA (FR0011051598 &#8211; ALMIB)<\/strong>, producer of a biological biocide capable of eliminating the risk in water and human wounds, and of a biocontrol product for plant protection, still in a development phase, announces within the development of its biofungicide active substance, the lysate of the amoeba Willaertia magna C2c Maky, that it extends its collaborations with its partners (<strong>PHILAGRO and ST\u00c4HLER<\/strong>) and other major actors of the plant protection sector (<strong>BASF &#8211; BAYER &#8211; EVERGREEN GARDEN CARE &#8211; GOWAN &#8211; KWIZDA<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\"><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"medium-large-full\">\n<p><strong>Continued experimentation with partners<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\"><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"medium-large-full\">\n<p><strong>PHILAGRO\u00a0<\/strong>(France) and\u00a0<strong>ST\u00c4HLER\u00a0<\/strong>(Switzerland), the partner companies with which AMO\u00c9BA has already signed term sheets that will lead to the signature of distribution agreements on grapevines (See press releases of December 9 and 18, 2020), will continue their experiments on grapevines but also on other crops.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\"><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"medium-large-full\">\n<p><strong>Biocontrol application tested on other crops and geographical areas<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\"><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"medium-large-full\">\n<p>Other agrochemical players, some of whom have already conducted tests in 2020, have decided to take part in this new field trials campaign.&nbsp;<strong>BASF &#8211; BAYER &#8211; EVERGREEN GARDEN CARE &#8211; GOWAN &#8211; KWIZDA&nbsp;<\/strong>will test the active substance of AMOEBA in different countries and on a wide range of crops (including vines, cereals and vegetables).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\"><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"medium-large-full\">\n<p>With the trials carried out by AMO\u00c9BA itself, a total of more than&nbsp;<strong>200 trials&nbsp;<\/strong>are planned throughout the world (Europe, the Americas, Asia) in 2021. This very large campaign will enable us to deepen our knowledge of the active substance, compare several formulations, broaden our knowledge of the spectrum of activity and generate, in Europe, results that will be used in future marketing authorization applications for formulated biocontrol products.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"container\"><div class=\"row\"><div class=\"medium-large-full\">\n<p><em>\u201cThis new field trials campaign, in which new agrochemical players will take part, demonstrates the need to act quickly to find alternatives to chemicals. Today&#8217;s agriculture, faced with more and more restrictions on the use of plant protection products, has to take up many environmental challenges to meet the expectations of the market and consumers.
